BUYER CHECKLIST
- Be aware of the Mortgage rates in the area and familiarize yourself with the mortgage process.
- Call your Mortgage Broker and get pre-qualified.
- Have them send you a Pre-Approval letter stating what the amount is that you are pre-approved for.
- Get your budget in line and all of your finances in order.
- Sit down and talk about what it is that you want in your first, or next home.
- Get with your Agent and share your ideas of what you are looking for.
- Have your Agent find you a home that meets all or most of your criteria.
- Consult with your agent and negotiate to come to an offer.
- Get your specialty inspectors in place and have a home inspection done.
- Confirm your closing date.
- Do a walk-through of the home.
- Go to Closing and start enjoying your new home.
